GiGi’s Playhouse
GiGi’s Playhouse’s mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. In my role as strategist, I conceived everything from the broad theme of, “A little something extra”, to the small details such as encouraging attendees to wear an additional, inspired article to the black-tie event to show support for those with Down syndrome, which results from having an extra chromosome pair. I also was the copywriter for “Step to Accept”, a nationwide digital fundraising effort that raised over $1,000,000.
